PFARIA presenting their donation to Bryan Wong – the Executive Director of SGV Habitat for Humanity
PFARIA is always looking for ways to support community projects, and Habitat for Humanity has long been an organization whose efforts we champion. That said, we offered donations to their latest project, which they refer to as, The Olive Avenue Project. The project, located at 2399 Olive Avenue in Altadena, is set to become an affordable single-family home. The property was previously owned by the county but has been transferred to the San Gabriel Habitat for Humanity following a zoning change. The completed home will be sold to a low-income, first-time homebuyer.
Enjoy the photos, and you’ll see an adventurous morning where the PFARIA staff braved the rainy conditions to show up at the actual construction site – rather than their main HQ, where the event was held because of the rain. Needless to say, we showed up, showed out, and in the end, it was a good day spent with friends, both old and new!
