Email Management / Text Messaging
PFAR is committed to keeping our members up-to-date on industry and membership news. Notices provided via print or digital are solely intended for PFAR members or PFAR MLS Subscribers unless otherwise stated. Members are provided an option to opt out of digital notifications with the exception of Mandatory Notices at any time by completing the Email Preference Form located at the footer of each eNewsletter. Members are also provided with an option to receive text messages for PFAR notices – this is on a strictly opt-in basis for this method of communication and members are able to opt-out as they choose.
Member and Consumer Directory
The Member Directory is a member benefit to provide business exposure for PFAR Members in the real estate and consumer community.
Distribution and requests of member email lists is strictly prohibited unless required by law or a validated legal process.
Security
Pfar.org is daily monitored to ensure the site is consistently working. Procedures are modified to align with latest technology advancements. In the case the site is unavailable, PFAR will work with the hosting team and internal programming to get the site up and running as soon as possible.
Credit card information provided when payments are made for products, dues or other services via the Internet Member Services will only be used to process the transactions requested by the member.
Since pfar.org is a public site we are unable to manage how the information featured is used by the third parties.
Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy (DMCA)
The Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS® supports and respects the legitimate rights of copyright owners, their agents, and representatives while at the same time reducing the number of allegations that we receive that are fraudulent or difficult to verify.
Per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a copyright owner or their agent may submit a takedown notice to PFAR via PFAR’s DMCA Agent listed below.
Upon receipt of a claim that alleges copyright infringement, PFAR will pursue as it deems applicable within its sole discretion, which may include the removal of the allegedly infringing materials in “appropriate circumstances.”

Repeat Infringer Policy
Per the Repeat Infringer Policy requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, PFAR documents each notice and in the event PFAR identifies repeat infringers, PFAR reserves the right to terminate their accounts in “appropriate circumstances.”

PFAR is a proud supporter of the community and the professional business of our members and partners. In many cases, third party links are featured on PFAR’s website, which follow their own privacy guidelines. PFAR reserves the right to remove any third party links that violate PFAR’s mission, professional standards and practices.
Surveys
PFAR is consistently seeking ways to improve our member offerings. As a result, surveys are provided to members throughout the calendar year to solicit member feedback. Data collected through the survey is only used internally.

Information featured on the PFAR website is constantly evolving. If an error is seen, please email info@pfar.org with the page website link and description of what needs to be corrected. If member contact information is in need of an update, members can login into their Internet Member Services account to update their personal and business details.
