Erik is a proud native of Glendale, California, the youngest son of immigrant parents who journeyed from Norway to Southern California shortly after their marriage. He graduated from Hoover High School before venturing out of the state to pursue a Business Administration degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
For over twenty years, Erik has been a key player at Inter Valley Escrow, starting his career with a summer job as a part-time messenger. After returning from university, he took on the role of Assistant and, in 2001, was promoted to Escrow Officer. He managed the La Cañada Flintridge branch for several years and now operates out of both the Glendale and Pasadena offices. His exceptional performance has earned him the Ascent Award at Inter Valley Escrow three times in the last five years, recognizing his outstanding growth in business year-over-year. Erik’s commitment and diligence resonate with every client, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the escrow process.
Dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth, Erik actively participates in training sessions at the Escrow Training Institute and engages with various Escrow Association meetings to keep abreast of industry trends, legal updates, and emerging challenges. He collaborates with his business coach to refine his communication and workflow strategies, embodying the principle of "working smarter, not harder."
In addition to his professional commitments, Erik is passionate about giving back to the community. He serves as a committee member of the Pasadena Foothills Association of Realtors In Action (PFAR Charitable Committee), where he helps raise funds for local charities. When time does not permit direct involvement, he generously supports causes close to his heart, such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Los Angeles ASPCA, City of Hope, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

His meticulous attention to detail and warm personality ensure that clients feel supported throughout the often daunting escrow process. He strives to be accessible to his clients throughout the day, transforming what can be a stressful experience filled with paperwork and deadlines into a more manageable and positive journey.
