As we approach the first anniversary of the Eaton Fire, we want to thank each of you for being a good neighbor. In the days and months that followed, you showed why people are drawn to this community and why they choose to stay for generations. Each of you led in your own way, through care, kindness, and connection.
As our staff reflected on how best to acknowledge this anniversary, we felt the most meaningful way was to share what is happening in the community so you can continue to support neighbors and friends in solidarity. We encourage you to join any of the events below and take a moment to reflect on what we lost, what we learned, and what we gained over the past year.
Additional events are shared via local Facebook groups and community pages, including What’s Up Altadena and Beautiful Altadena. You’re also welcome to share events with us through PFAR’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
