Pasadena Community Resources

A resource guide featuring the many valuable resources being offered by the City of Pasadena. The City of Pasadena provides an array of human services to support the community including consumer action services, assistance with landlord/tenant issues, small claims, applications with various government assistance programs and other related matters. Various support and programs are also available for youth, families, and seniors.

Services Offered

Community Service Staff is available by appointment to assist with the following services: small claims, restraining orders, responses to restraining orders, unlawful detainers, landlord tenant issues, Social Security, CAlFresh, GR, unemployment Claims, state disability, Medi-Cal, CalWorks, legal name change and housing applications and other related matters.

Trained Housing Counselors are available to answer questions about landlord-tenant rights and responsibilities, including questions about Security Deposits, Evictions, Repairs, Rent Increases, and Harassments. In addition, Case Analysts investigate allegations of housing discrimination and help victims of discrimination enforce their Fair Housing rights.
