The Altadena Community Standards District (CSD) is a supplemental district of zoning regulations to ensure that new and expanded structures and uses are compatible in size and scale with the surrounding neighborhoods within the unincorporated community of Altadena.

The program provides services for adults 60 years and older who live in the San Gabriel Valley and Pomona Valley. Some of the sites also act as cooling centers during the hot summer months.  Services are targeted, but not restricted, to San Gabriel Valley and Pomona Valley residents.

The Altadena Community Garden is a non-profit organization that provides gardening space, info, and education to Garden members.
